Docvaya Privacy Policy

Docvaya is a document scanner app for Android and iOS, developed and published by Parshva Web Solutions, Goa, India ("we", "us", "our"). This policy explains what information the Docvaya app handles, where it is processed, and the choices you have.

1. Information that stays on your device

The following is created and stored only in Docvaya's private storage on your device. We do not collect it, and we cannot access it:

• Photos you capture with the camera and images or PDFs you import.
• Processed pages, PDFs, thumbnails and document titles.
• Text recognised from your documents (OCR) and the search index built from it.
• Signatures you draw, stored encrypted.
• Folders, tags, and app settings such as language, theme and default scan mode.

Documents you lock are encrypted on your device using AES-GCM, with a key held in the Android Keystore or iOS Keychain.

2. Permissions we ask for

Permission	Why
Camera	To scan documents and QR codes. Asked only when you first tap Scan.
Photos and files	Docvaya uses the system photo picker and file picker. You choose each item, and Docvaya receives only what you pick. We do not request access to all your photos or files.
Face ID, fingerprint or device PIN	Only if you turn on App Lock or lock a document. Your operating system checks your identity. Docvaya never receives your biometric data.
Internet	Used for Premium purchases and for the Google services described in section 3. Your documents are never sent over the internet by Docvaya.

3. Third-party services

Google ML Kit (text recognition and barcode scanning)

Text recognition and QR or barcode scanning use Google ML Kit, which processes your images on your device. Google states that ML Kit may contact Google servers to receive model updates and bug fixes, and may send Google technical metrics about how the feature performs (such as device type, app version and processing time). These metrics do not include your images or the text in your documents. See the ML Kit terms and Google Privacy Policy.

Quick Scan (optional)

If you choose Quick Scan in settings, Android uses the Google Play services document scanner and iOS uses Apple's built-in VisionKit scanner. Both process your document on your device and return the result to Docvaya.

RevenueCat (Premium purchases)

If you view or buy Premium, we use RevenueCat, Inc. to manage subscriptions and restore purchases. RevenueCat receives a random app user ID (not your name or email), your purchase and subscription history, and basic device and app information (such as country, platform and app version). Google Play and Apple App Store

Payments are processed by Google Play or Apple under their own privacy policies. We do not receive your payment card, UPI or bank details.

4. What we do not do

• We do not show ads or use advertising SDKs.
• We do not sell, rent or trade any information.
• We do not track you across other apps or websites.
• We do not run analytics on your document content, file names or recognised text.
• We do not require you to create an account.

5. Sharing and exporting

When you share, export, print or save a document, you choose where it goes (for example WhatsApp, email, Google Drive or your Files app). From that point, the receiving app or service handles it under its own privacy policy.

6. Storage, backups and retention

• Your documents remain on your device until you delete them.
• Deleted documents go to "Recently deleted" and are permanently removed after 30 days, or earlier if you empty it.
• Docvaya's documents are excluded from automatic Android and iCloud device backups, so they do not leave your device. To keep a copy, export it or share it to a location you choose.
• Uninstalling Docvaya permanently deletes all documents stored in the app. We cannot recover them.
• Purchase records held by RevenueCat, Google and Apple are kept as required for billing, tax and legal purposes.

7. Children

Docvaya is a general productivity app and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

8. Your rights

Because your documents stay on your device, you control them fully: you can view, export or delete them at any time within the app. Depending on where you live, including under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and the EU General Data Protection Regulation, you may have rights to access, correct or delete personal data and to withdraw consent. For purchase data held by RevenueCat, contact us using the details below and we will help you with your request.

9. International transfers

RevenueCat, Google and Apple may process purchase information on servers outside India, including in the United States, under their own safeguards.

10. Changes to this policy

If we add features that change how information is handled (for example optional cloud backup), we will update this policy before releasing them, change the "Last updated" date above, and, for significant changes, tell you inside the app.

Docvaya एंड्रॉइड और आईओएस के लिए एक दस्तावेज़ स्कैनर ऐप है, जिसे गोवा, भारत स्थित पार्श्व वेब सॉल्यूशंस (Parshva Web Solutions) ने विकसित और प्रकाशित किया है ("हम", "हमारा")। यह नीति बताती है कि Docvaya ऐप कौन-सी जानकारी संभालता है, उसे कहाँ संसाधित किया जाता है, और आपके पास क्या विकल्प हैं।

1. जानकारी जो आपके उपकरण पर ही रहती है

नीचे दी गई जानकारी केवल आपके उपकरण पर Docvaya के निजी भंडारण में बनाई और रखी जाती है। हम इसे एकत्र नहीं करते और इस तक हमारी पहुँच नहीं है:

• कैमरे से ली गई तस्वीरें और आपके द्वारा आयात की गई छवियाँ या पीडीएफ़।
• संसाधित पृष्ठ, पीडीएफ़, छोटे पूर्वावलोकन चित्र और दस्तावेज़ों के नाम।
• आपके दस्तावेज़ों से पहचाना गया पाठ (ओसीआर) और उससे बना खोज सूचकांक।
• आपके द्वारा बनाए गए हस्ताक्षर, जो कूटबद्ध (एन्क्रिप्ट) करके रखे जाते हैं।
• फ़ोल्डर, टैग और ऐप की सेटिंग्स, जैसे भाषा, थीम और स्कैन का डिफ़ॉल्ट तरीका।

जिन दस्तावेज़ों को आप लॉक करते हैं, वे आपके उपकरण पर AES-GCM पद्धति से कूटबद्ध किए जाते हैं, और उसकी कुंजी एंड्रॉइड कीस्टोर या आईओएस कीचेन में सुरक्षित रहती है।

2. हम कौन-सी अनुमतियाँ माँगते हैं

अनुमति	कारण
कैमरा	दस्तावेज़ और क्यूआर कोड स्कैन करने के लिए। यह केवल तब पूछी जाती है जब आप पहली बार स्कैन पर टैप करते हैं।
फ़ोटो और फ़ाइलें	Docvaya सिस्टम के फ़ोटो चयनकर्ता और फ़ाइल चयनकर्ता का उपयोग करता है। आप हर वस्तु स्वयं चुनते हैं, और Docvaya को केवल वही मिलता है जो आप चुनते हैं। हम आपकी सभी फ़ोटो या फ़ाइलों तक पहुँच नहीं माँगते।
फ़ेस आईडी, फ़िंगरप्रिंट या उपकरण पिन	केवल तब, जब आप ऐप लॉक चालू करते हैं या कोई दस्तावेज़ लॉक करते हैं। आपकी पहचान की जाँच आपका ऑपरेटिंग सिस्टम करता है। Docvaya को आपका बायोमेट्रिक डेटा कभी नहीं मिलता।
इंटरनेट	प्रीमियम खरीद और खंड 3 में बताई गई Google सेवाओं के लिए। Docvaya आपके दस्तावेज़ कभी इंटरनेट पर नहीं भेजता।

3. तृतीय-पक्ष सेवाएँ

Google ML Kit (पाठ पहचान और बारकोड स्कैनिंग)

पाठ पहचान तथा क्यूआर या बारकोड स्कैनिंग के लिए Google ML Kit का उपयोग होता है, जो आपकी छवियों को आपके उपकरण पर ही संसाधित करता है। Google के अनुसार ML Kit मॉडल के अद्यतन और त्रुटि सुधार पाने के लिए Google के सर्वर से संपर्क कर सकता है, और यह सुविधा कैसा काम कर रही है, इसके तकनीकी आँकड़े (जैसे उपकरण का प्रकार, ऐप संस्करण और संसाधन में लगा समय) Google को भेज सकता है। इन आँकड़ों में आपकी छवियाँ या आपके दस्तावेज़ों का पाठ शामिल नहीं होता। अधिक जानकारी के लिए ML Kit की शर्तें और Google गोपनीयता नीति देखें।

क्विक स्कैन (वैकल्पिक)

यदि आप सेटिंग्स में क्विक स्कैन चुनते हैं, तो एंड्रॉइड पर Google Play सेवाओं का दस्तावेज़ स्कैनर और आईओएस पर Apple का अंतर्निहित VisionKit स्कैनर उपयोग होता है। दोनों आपके दस्तावेज़ को आपके उपकरण पर ही संसाधित करके परिणाम Docvaya को लौटाते हैं।

RevenueCat (प्रीमियम खरीद)

यदि आप प्रीमियम देखते या खरीदते हैं, तो सदस्यता प्रबंधन और खरीद पुनः प्राप्त करने के लिए हम RevenueCat, Inc. का उपयोग करते हैं। RevenueCat को एक यादृच्छिक ऐप उपयोगकर्ता पहचान संख्या (आपका नाम या ईमेल नहीं), आपकी खरीद और सदस्यता का इतिहास, और उपकरण तथा ऐप की सामान्य जानकारी (जैसे देश, प्लेटफ़ॉर्म और ऐप संस्करण) मिलती है। RevenueCat गोपनीयता नीति देखें।

Google Play और Apple App Store

भुगतान Google Play या Apple अपनी गोपनीयता नीतियों के अनुसार संसाधित करते हैं। आपके भुगतान कार्ड, यूपीआई या बैंक का विवरण हमें नहीं मिलता।

4. हम क्या नहीं करते

• हम विज्ञापन नहीं दिखाते और न ही विज्ञापन से जुड़े किसी सॉफ़्टवेयर का उपयोग करते हैं।
• हम कोई भी जानकारी बेचते, किराये पर देते या उसका व्यापार नहीं करते।
• हम आपको दूसरे ऐप या वेबसाइटों पर ट्रैक नहीं करते।
• हम आपके दस्तावेज़ों की सामग्री, फ़ाइलों के नाम या पहचाने गए पाठ का कोई विश्लेषण नहीं करते।
• हम आपसे कोई खाता बनाने को नहीं कहते।

5. साझा करना और निर्यात करना

जब आप कोई दस्तावेज़ साझा, निर्यात, प्रिंट या सहेजते हैं, तो आप स्वयं चुनते हैं कि वह कहाँ जाएगा (जैसे व्हाट्सऐप, ईमेल, Google Drive या फ़ाइल ऐप)। उसके बाद वह ऐप या सेवा उसे अपनी गोपनीयता नीति के अनुसार संभालती है।

6. भंडारण, बैकअप और डेटा रखने की अवधि

• आपके दस्तावेज़ तब तक आपके उपकरण पर रहते हैं, जब तक आप उन्हें हटा नहीं देते।
• हटाए गए दस्तावेज़ "हाल ही में हटाए गए" में जाते हैं और 30 दिन बाद, या उसे खाली करने पर पहले ही, स्थायी रूप से मिट जाते हैं।
• Docvaya के दस्तावेज़ एंड्रॉइड और आईक्लाउड के स्वचालित उपकरण बैकअप में शामिल नहीं होते, ताकि वे आपके उपकरण से बाहर न जाएँ। प्रति रखने के लिए दस्तावेज़ को अपनी चुनी हुई जगह पर निर्यात या साझा करें।
• Docvaya को हटाने (अनइंस्टॉल करने) पर ऐप में रखे सभी दस्तावेज़ स्थायी रूप से मिट जाते हैं। हम उन्हें वापस नहीं ला सकते।
• RevenueCat, Google और Apple के पास रखे खरीद के रिकॉर्ड बिलिंग, कर और कानूनी आवश्यकताओं के अनुसार रखे जाते हैं।

7. बच्चे

Docvaya एक सामान्य उत्पादकता ऐप है और 13 वर्ष से कम आयु के बच्चों के लिए नहीं बनाया गया है। हम जानबूझकर बच्चों की व्यक्तिगत जानकारी एकत्र नहीं करते।

8. आपके अधिकार

आपके दस्तावेज़ आपके उपकरण पर ही रहते हैं, इसलिए उन पर आपका पूरा नियंत्रण है: आप कभी भी ऐप में उन्हें देख, निर्यात कर या हटा सकते हैं। आप जहाँ रहते हैं, उसके आधार पर, जिसमें भारत का डिजिटल व्यक्तिगत डेटा संरक्षण अधिनियम, 2023 और यूरोपीय संघ का सामान्य डेटा संरक्षण विनियमन शामिल हैं, आपको अपने व्यक्तिगत डेटा को देखने, सुधारने या हटाने तथा सहमति वापस लेने का अधिकार हो सकता है। RevenueCat के पास रखे खरीद डेटा के लिए नीचे दिए विवरण पर हमसे संपर्क करें, हम आपके अनुरोध में सहायता करेंगे।

9. अंतरराष्ट्रीय स्थानांतरण

RevenueCat, Google और Apple खरीद की जानकारी को भारत से बाहर, जिसमें संयुक्त राज्य अमेरिका शामिल है, अपने सुरक्षा उपायों के साथ संसाधित कर सकते हैं।

10. इस नीति में बदलाव

यदि हम ऐसी सुविधाएँ जोड़ते हैं जिनसे जानकारी संभालने का तरीका बदलता है (जैसे वैकल्पिक क्लाउड बैकअप), तो हम उन्हें जारी करने से पहले यह नीति अद्यतन करेंगे, ऊपर "अंतिम अद्यतन" की तिथि बदलेंगे, और महत्वपूर्ण बदलावों की सूचना ऐप में देंगे।
